First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Workbox Staffing.
Assembly Worker
Interviews are held at the workbox office with the manager. The process involves oral, writing, and texting questions every Friday for about an hour. Sometimes other office members also conduct interviews, which helps employees get access to the job easily if the manager is too busy. I like their work procedure; they are very motivated at that office.
- How did you hear about us?
Production Associate
I applied for this role through a recruiting agency. The recruiter called me, and initially seemed friendly, but then turned rude and difficult when I mentioned not having a car. She took a hostile stance on this issue. The company she was recruiting for was on a bus line, and the job description also stated this, but she lied and said it wasn't. When I challenged her with the bus route map, she falsely claimed there was construction, which there isn't. I then looked up the company myself and found it's out of business. When I informed her of this, she accused me of lying and wasting her time, then hung up.
- Do you have reliable transportation?
Administrative Assistant
I didn't have a formal interview because I knew someone there. However, I often interviewed internal staff, and it's generally straightforward. You always need to complete a Workbox Application and have a brief interview, which is mostly a casual 'get to know you' session. It's important to be consistent with your resume and your answers, as they'll be revisited multiple times.
- What are your work-related strengths?
Employee
Temp Employee, experience was great. Good communication skills talked about previous work history and asked what I was looking for and helped me find a position. Have been working and Workbox has been helpful in finding employment for me. The staff is always helpful and goes out of their way to find employment for me.
