I was contacted via UpWork for this role. First, I had a Zoom chat with the head of HR. This initial meeting was compensated, which was nice. The conversation covered some basic points, and then I was given a paid editing test to complete separately.

There was a questionnaire. Nothing complex, some of it bizarre. How to you take criticism, do you enjoy partied, do you have meaningful dreams. That kind of thing. Then there was a trial assignment. I had three options to pick to,. Completed it and never heard back. A month later they reached our. Turns out they forgot to hire me, was I still interested. There was another sample assignment, but in fairness to WordAgents, they paid for that immediately and began the probationary period.

I was given a trial assignment to complete within a few days. Then, the hiring manager requested certain edits. I worked with her until the edits were complete. After reviewing the final article, she offered me the job.
