I was invited for an in-person interview and didn't have to do a phone screen. I had to wait a bit before my interviewer came to get me. She apologized for the delay and then brought me into her office. The interview was about an hour long. I felt like I only spoke for about 25% of the time and it was hard to get a word in. She also shared a lot of information that you really shouldn't be telling a potential new employee.

Initial phone screen with the committee. HR will send a reference check form between the first and second rounds without prior notice. The final round is a second meeting with the committee. They will pull references again for all final candidates. I had to follow up multiple times to get an answer. The union seems to have influence. I would avoid at all costs; the steps they put you through are not commensurate with the university's level.
