It was a face-to-face interview, including a tour of the school. They asked basic background questions and I also had a meeting with the head of curriculum. It felt conversational and informal. They seemed to spend equal time getting to know me and helping me understand the culture at Woodward.

It was a phone interview initially, and then I met with some administrators and staff. The leadership and staff are friendly, smart, insightful and challenging. The process is still ongoing as I haven't gotten an offer yet, but the tenor and professionality are impressive. I'm attracted to the school as an employer based on the process alone!

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process was pretty chill, but it had a few parts. It started with an interview online, then I had to do a video of myself teaching a sample lesson. After that, I had an in-person interview on campus with my direct manager and the assistant principal, and they showed me around the campus too. The last thing was a meeting with the president, which felt more like a formality to wrap things up.

Learned about a potential teaching job from an email list for teachers. Talked to the teacher who was leaving and sent my resume to the Department Chair and HR. Interviewed a few times -- once with the Dept Chair, once with the Principal, and once with the VP/Headmaster. Got offered the job not long after.
