First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center.
Food Service Worker
It's an easy interview with usually three people interviewing you at the same time. It goes by really fast! Just make sure you have food service experience and be prepared and on time! It's a great starter job if you want to get your foot in the door!
- Do you have prior experience in food service?
Clerical Associate
I took a civil service exam back in 2015. Then, in July 2019, I got a letter about being in the Clerical Associate hiring pool. They offered me a job, but they said it would take months to start because the budget process was really long.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Can you describe a situation where you were under pressure and how you handled it?
Registered Nurse
interview went well. The staff asked a lot of questions and explained anything that you were not clear on. This is one job you need knowledge of the computer, word and the ability to type fast at least 25 wpm helps. Previous experience and leadership ability an asset, ability to get along with others and work as a part of a team is a plus.
- What is your knowledge of PCMH?
- Can you explain what PHQ9 is?
Administrative Assistant
I got a call from my staffing recruiter about a possible opportunity at the hospital. She then set up the interview with the associate director. I met with her early afternoon and we had more of a conversation than an interview. She wanted me to describe my experience and then describe what kind of person I am. After that she described the position and what would be required of me, if I were to be selected for the position. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes and then I left.
- What prompted your departure from your previous job?
