It was a good, smooth interview process. I went through three rounds before getting rejected. The first round was with HR, then I met with the manager, and finally with more members on the team. The team members were all nice and made the interview environment welcoming.

The interview process was split into two parts, both held in MS Teams video conference format: 1. Initial interview with the hiring manager, which lasted ~40 minutes. 2. The second stage interview, which is a panel interview with the Hiring manager, direct supervisor and another team member with a presentation (~20 minutes for the presentation, 20 minutes for the Q&A and another 20 minutes for my questions for the panel). Both interviews went very well, but I ended up without an offer because of my citizenship.

So, I had this phone interview with HR first. They asked pretty standard stuff, like about my background and if I was a good fit for the job. We also chatted about salary expectations, how much notice I'd need to give, and confirmed my right to work in the UK. After that, there was a presentation, which was a 90-minute in-tray exercise. It also included a technical interview where they went through my CV, asking about my experience and skills, and then a competency interview.
