First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wonton Food.
Food Technologist
The interview process was good. It was relaxing and I did not feel nervous at all. The interviewers were making sure I feel comfortable and were friendly. The interview lasted about 1 hour.
- Can you share some of your leadership experiences?
Executive Assistant
I submitted my application online. There were 3 steps in the process. First, a phone screening. Then, the first interview, which was about 2 hours long and involved skill checks like Chinese to English translation and vice versa, Excel tests, and a writing sample. After that, the second interview, also about 2 hours, where I had to answer questions about my resume and career goals. This interview also included a note-taking test for accuracy, an observation test, and a personality test. I got to chat with HR team members, the manager, and even the CEO. While the interviews were long, I really enjoyed the whole process and found the people interesting to talk to.
- What are your career aspirations or long-term objectives?
Food Technologist
For this technologist role, the interview process was pretty classical. The first round was a 1-hour talk with both a HR person and a technical manager, where most questions focused on professional and communication skills. The second round involved a conversation with an HR manager, including a practice situation where I had to act as a manager talking with the lab in the facility.
- What is your understanding of company communication?
Intern
Got a quick rundown of my resume and the job. They said I'd hear back in a week, but it's been three weeks and still nothing. The interview itself wasn't tough, but the wait was pretty annoying.
