The interview process had 3 steps. First, I had an intro call with the Hiring Manager. Since I was referred by a current employee, I skipped what I think would have been a recruiter screening call. Next, I had a take-home exercise, which was a 2-hour project about the job to show my skills and thinking. Lastly, the 'Super day' was like a panel interview with a few parts. I presented my project to important people and had interviews with future colleagues. The 'Tao Interview' was a highlight, meeting team members to see if I'd fit the company culture.

I interviewed for two different roles. The interviews were a mix of over the phone, in-person, and video conference calls. The first interview for each role was learning more about the role and explaining my work history. The in-person interviews were to go into more detail about the role and ask more in-depth questions. The online video chat was a group "culture" interview to learn more about Wonolo's culture and how I'd fit in.

My interview at Wonolo was a great experience. Vivian, the Head of Talent, was awesome to work with and kept me in the loop the whole time. First, I had two phone interviews with the Sr Manager and Sr Director of Operations. These were pretty chill and let me learn about Wonolo and chat about my background. Then, I had a 2-3 hour video panel with seven people from different departments, followed by a call with the CEO, Yong Kim. The last step was a take-home assignment involving a skills assessment, a business case, and analyzing some real data. Even though it took a while, the process was a good way to meet key people and understand the company's mission.
