Wonderlic Interview Questions
& Process

The whole process took about 6 weeks, from when I first applied until I got the offer. About a week after applying, I got an email for a screening call. I had two rounds of interviews, one with my hiring manager and another with their manager. After that, I was given an assessment to complete, which I then presented to both managers the following week.

This was a really disrespectful interview experience. My first interview was supposed to be yesterday but the recruiter didn't show up, so a colleague rescheduled for today. Today, the recruiter called on time but seemed really uninterested. She asked four basic questions like a robot while her cats were making noise. I tried to ask her some questions, but she didn't know any of the answers, including how much the job pays and what the benefits are. She only knew how the rest of the interview process would go. The call lasted 13 minutes, and she said I'd hear back by mid-next week. I felt like my time was disrespected and wasted because I prepared for two days.

So the interview process with this company was a bit slow to start, but I figured it was just the holidays. It included a phone screen, the Wonderlic and a personality assessment, a chat with the hiring manager, and then a panel interview with the team. Everything seemed to go well, and I felt a good connection in all those stages. But then... nothing. It's been two months and I've reached out several times, and I still haven't even received a rejection notice. Honestly, you might be better off not even applying because it seems like they don't finish the process.

The interview process at Wonderlic was lengthy and challenging, which was disappointing given the strong initial conversations. There were four rounds: an initial screen, a leadership chat, and a third-round Zoom panel with three team members that included a live mock client call exercise. The work exercise involved reworking provided slides that were poorly structured and didn't reflect the quality expected for a real client-facing presentation. While each interview went well and the people were personable, the process had inconsistent communication and a lack of follow-through. I had to repeatedly ask for updates, as next steps weren't scheduled unless I initiated contact. After being told I advanced to a final interview, communication stopped for several days, and I later got a generic rejection email saying both roles were filled. Overall, the process left a negative impression. The lack of communication and professionalism undercut what looked like a values-driven organization. Candidates deserve transparency, timely updates, and respect for the effort and time spent across multiple interview rounds. It was disappointing the process didn’t reflect the company’s stated values.
