First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Women's Healthcare Associates.
Patient Service Representative
It was pretty easy and straightforward. Most of the questions were behavioral. The entire interview lasted about an hour. If you have receptionist experience, then the interview shouldn’t be too hard. Just practice STAR methodology.
- How do you handle conflict?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was ultimately why I declined the job. It was very cold, impersonal, and conducted by non-RN supervisors. A particularly off-putting aspect was being asked clinical questions by interviewers who weren't RNs, which made me question how they could assess the appropriateness of my care responses.
- How would you handle a call from someone experiencing pain during early pregnancy?
Medical Laboratory Technologist
So, first there was a phone interview, then I had two more interviews, one was in-person/video and the other was too. The first of those was with HR, and then the second one was with the lab manager and the head of operations. Oh, and they also asked me to check on health insurance costs for dependents/partners.
- Tell me about how you handle disagreements or tough talks with colleagues.
- Describe your ideal management approach.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error and how you dealt with it?
Medical Receptionist
I started with a phone interview with HR. If I got selected, I proceeded to an in-person panel interview. They got back to me fairly quick with an offer.
