I had a call with a member of their HR team, they were super nice. We talked about my background and my salary expectations. The recruiter seemed a bit concerned about my desired salary since it was lower than what other trading firms pay for my experience. Despite that, they decided to move forward. I got an online assessment (OA) which I completed with plenty of time to spare and passed all the tests. The next day, I got a rejection email.

Wolverine will test your patience. They give you a test, you pass, and then they reject you, only to say the team is excited to meet you. The engineers seem inexperienced and get upset when you challenge their design choices. They don't seem to value independent or out-of-the-box thinking. HR was also quite rude. I'm sure they treat their employees well, assuming you can get through their initiation. This process really reflects their work culture.

The interview process involved a coding challenge with three questions first, followed by a phone interview. Then there was a virtual superday that included two coding interviews. Finally, I received an offer during a call with the recruiter. The whole process wrapped up in three weeks, and they were quite efficient and kept me informed.

The interview process seemed to go okay, I had two Zoom interviews that lasted about an hour each within two weeks. Then, around the third week, I went in for an in-person interview. They didn't seem super organized. I met with about five different people that day, and I was there for about two hours. Things seemed promising, but then they said they'd get back to me within a month. It feels like a waste of time to go through so many interviews and meet in person if they take that long to decide. Other recruiters and companies move way faster. I had two other job offers by the time they finally let me know I didn't get the job.
