Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wolters Kluwer.
Customer Service Representative
I had some initial screenings, and then the interviewers were lovely and very friendly. They were very accommodating with scheduling the interviews around my work hours. The interviews weren't too difficult, but you do have to get through a few different stages.
- What are your expectations for this role?
Customer Service Associate
The interview process moved pretty quickly. First, there was a phone screen with a really friendly recruiter who shared some great info about the role. Then, I had a tougher, one-hour interview with two of the people I'd be reporting to. They asked a lot of questions about managing multiple tasks, upsell experience, dealing with upset customers, and times I had to pick up new skills or software. My tip is to really dig into the company and the job details and figure out how your background fits. I did get an offer, but turned it down because I found a better fit elsewhere. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle competing priorities.
- Can you share an instance where you had to acquire new skills or learn new software?
- Describe your approach to handling dissatisfied customers.
Customer Service Representative
It was a long interview process. First, I had a 30-minute phone interview with the assistant manager. Then, I had an in-person interview with the assistant manager, the manager, and the person who would be training me.
- How would you handle juggling multiple projects simultaneously?
