Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wolfspeed.
Intern
The interview was done over MS Teams and was very straightforward. They asked me some questions, and I got to ask questions to my interviewer too. It was mostly behavioral questions, and some basic technical questions asking if I had studied certain topics before.
- Tell me about a situation where you or your team encountered an obstacle on a project, and how you overcame it.
Intern
I had an initial phone screening that went really well. The recruiter was super helpful and mainly asked about my qualifications, the projects I've worked on, and generally what I'm like as a person to see if I'd fit in. After that, they set up an interview with the hiring manager, which also went pretty smoothly. There weren't really any technical questions; they mostly wanted to know if I'm eager to learn and try new things at Cree.
- Why did you decide to major in your field of study?
- Can you describe your qualifications?
- Tell me about some of the projects you have completed.
Intern
I had one interview with the manager, then I was asked back for a second round but had already taken another job.
- Tell me about your resume.
