There was one phone call interview that was about 30 to 45 minutes long with the Hiring Manager. The person interviewing me was nice and professional. What I didn't like was that they didn't go into any detail about the job description or the company, and they also didn't let me ask any questions at the end, which I usually like to do.

You gotta know the culinary world super well for this. They grilled me a lot on different cooking styles, how to prep stuff, and running a kitchen. It seems like taking extra culinary classes, on top of your degrees, was a plus, so you should try to get some diplomas or certificates too.

I never heard back from the company after applying. The interview itself felt very uninspired, and the interviewer didn't really ask many questions related to my background. They also didn't end up making any job offers at the job fair, and I didn't get much information about the pay or benefits.
