First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wolf Trap Foundation.
Intern
Super easy and quick interview process, about 2 rounds. They were fast to schedule and replied quickly. You need to know about their music programs. Being able to get to Vienna for work is important for the team. They gave plenty of time for me to ask questions.
- Which music program at Wolf Trap are you most looking forward to this year?
Intern
They asked me some questions about how I'd support donors, deal with angry phone calls, and manage difficult people based on my past experiences. They really emphasized how important donor perception is, so I made sure to highlight that.
- What's your approach to handling a complaint from a donor?
Intern
The interview was conducted over the phone. The interviewer asked about my familiarity with Wolf Trap and my preferences in performing arts. Then, they asked me to present my work and portfolio, and discuss how I would address specific issues that might arise in the role.
- What do you know about Wolf Trap?
- What is your favorite Performing Arts form?
- Can you discuss your experience in previous jobs?
