The whole process was super smooth and really nice. An HR person reached out, and thankfully they didn't waste my time with unnecessary situational questions. Instead, they scheduled an interview, and we had a brief chat, then it was over. It was a good interaction with HR, much better than dealing with recruiters who don't seem to get the jobs they're hiring for. My actual interview felt more like a casual conversation with the person who would be my manager. We talked for about an hour about my career path and my abilities. We also discussed what they needed and what I could bring to the table. It did become apparent that I wasn't quite qualified for what they were looking for. But honestly, it was one of the best interview experiences I've had. And the best part? Even though I didn't get an offer, HR got back to me to say they were moving forward with other candidates. You'd think this would be standard, but it's so rare. WNET did reach out, and I appreciate that.

I interviewed for a Senior Social Media Editor role and while I didn't get the job, the senior talent acquisition specialist suggested I stay in touch. I've since applied for multiple positions, always letting her know. She's always been welcoming, forwarding my applications and offering insights on my suitability for each role. Over a year later, she still remembers me and values my persistence and enthusiasm for the brand. This positive experience motivates me to continue applying, as I believe a company that treats candidates this well likely extends even better treatment to its employees.

I submitted my application online, but since I had a personal referral, my application moved to the front. I have a lot of experience in this area, so I connected well with both the hiring manager and the HR person I spoke with initially. Over a six-week period, I interviewed with four people in top management. Everything went smoothly, and they were all very pleasant. After that, there was a group meeting with the team that I would be managing. It was all pretty straightforward.

I got a reply to my application pretty fast, within 24 hours, and we set up the interview for the next week. The HR person was super helpful when the first dates didn't work out. I talked to the HR rep, and also a producer and an assistant from one of the departments at WNET. They were all nice and asked pretty standard questions.
