Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about this role. The process included 5 rounds: HR screening, a manager interview, a written test, a technical interview, and a final onsite interview (which was remote for out-of-state candidates). Everything was going fine until an HR person forgot to send the video links for the last round. I was waiting for the links while the interview panel was waiting for me. This caused some confusion and maybe led the panel to form impressions about me before the interview even started. I think it's important for interviewers to be professional and not let personal opinions influence the rest of the panel. The whole point of having multiple interviewers is to get different perspectives, not to have one person's opinion shape the outcome. Even though the HR feedback was good, the manager had a different view. I decided not to continue because the process felt disorganized and unprofessional. It seemed like they planned not to hire me. It's really disappointing for a company of this size to handle things this way, but I'm glad I backed out because it's better than regretting it later, especially if I had to relocate.

The interview process was really great, especially since I had just finished a certification at Wizeline Academy. The team was supportive and helped me reach the level of knowledge they were looking for, as I had applied before a few months prior. They also provide feedback after the interviews and panels.
