Data Analyst
The interview process included an online assessment with aptitude and logical reasoning. Then, a technical interview focused on my domain and resume, with a preference for SQL, puzzles, and intermediate DSA. Finally, an HR round.
- How would you approach specific problems?
- SQL questions
- Puzzles
Full Stack Software Engineer
This was by far the most aggressive and time-consuming selection process I've gone through so far. It took nearly two months from when I applied to get the first phone call interview. After that, I had 6 more web conference calls where I was interviewed by several people from different areas of the company, including the CTO, product managers, the development team, and the chairman. These calls happened over just two weeks, so it was a bit tricky to sync up my schedule with my current duties and the job application process. By the end of it, I felt they knew me well enough to accurately gauge if I was a good fit for the role and the company's culture.
- Can you describe your background in software development?
- Have you worked with CakePHP before?
- Questions about your behavior and past experiences
Software Engineer
The interviewers were really rude and didn't listen to my answers, they just wanted to prove themselves right. They seemed to have limited tech knowledge or exposure, but acted like what they were doing was the latest thing and other companies should use the same architecture. Overall, it was a very bad experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience with frameworks and technologies?
Implementation Specialist
The interview process was pretty standard. I had about three or four interviews over three weeks with the hiring director or manager, some future teammates, and a few other department heads. Then, I got the final offer.
- Can you describe your past positions and career progression, including any promotions?
- What are your expectations for this new role?
- What is prompting your search for a new opportunity and your decision to leave your current employer?
