The interview experience was pretty disorganized, and honestly, I regret going through with it. What really got to me was an interviewer saying my approach to game development was "in my head," especially after my 8 years in AAA games, including a Nintendo bestseller. It just didn't sit right.

So first I had a phone chat with the recruiter, then a video call with the hiring manager. After that, there were four more interviews with different people on the team. It was like a six-hour marathon of interviews in total. And yeah, there was a pretty long wait, like 2 to 4 weeks between each round.
