I went through a few interview rounds. It started with a phone screen, then some video calls and an onsite interview. They were very professional and kept me updated with feedback quickly. The questions were about my past work and some behavioral/situational questions.

The whole process took ages, about 5 months. During this time, other roles opened up, but they wouldn't let me apply since I was already in the running for this one. The initial recruiter chat was fine, felt more like a vibe check than a professional deep dive. But there were huge delays between stages where I heard nothing. Meeting the client was rough. They could've prepped me better by giving me a heads-up about the personalities I'd be meeting, and also telling me what they saw as my strengths and any potential concerns they had, so I could have addressed them. I'd work with them again, but be ready for it to take a long time and a lot of patience.

I applied for two CFO positions. Although my education was more than sufficient and my work history was very strong for these roles, I was quickly disqualified because my industry experience wasn't recent enough. Oddly, the listed recruiters were unavailable for both interviews, and I ended up speaking with people not initially listed. Despite this, I've since accepted a much better-paying job. However, Witt/Kieffer's assessment process for these roles was quite poor. Both positions had been open for over three months, suggesting Witt/Kieffer was determined to find their ideal candidate, likely causing further delays for the hiring clients.

I had a long phone interview day, about 4 hours total, talking with different team members, including leaders. It was pretty standard. They were nice and open with information. My frustration is that after spending 4 hours interviewing, I never heard back. I followed up about two weeks later to ask for feedback or a decision, but still got nothing. It seems unprofessional to put someone through so many interviews and then ghost them.
