First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wistron.
Software Engineer
There were 2 technical rounds. The first one involved coding basic programming tasks in Java, plus some questions on HTML and CSS, and then SQL. The second round was all about SQL queries, where I had to talk in depth about triggers and views, and the rest was about Java OOPS.
- Could you code a basic string palindrome and bubble sort in Java?
- What are your Java collections questions on Arrays, Maps, and the difference between HashMap and HashTable and when to use what type of collection?
Account Manager
The interview process starts with the line manager, and then there's a final round with the Sales Director. You'll get to introduce yourself, chat about your experience, and answer questions about working overtime, hobbies, and other interests.

- What motivates your interest in this role?
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
Operator
There was an offline test and an interview. It involved two papers. One paper had some personal questions to get to know you, and the other had simple math calculations and aptitude-style questions covering basics like the number system and percentages.

Hardware Engineer Intern
Had 2 phone interviews, all technical. The interviewer was super chill, no pressure. Got an offer after a week. Just keep in mind that the pay isn't very good, so if you are interested in an internship that is well-paid, then probably this is not the one.

- Can you explain the I2C protocol?
