So, the interview at Wiser Solutions was like a 5-stage journey, with different folks from all over the place interviewing me. It was a mix of technical stuff, problem-solving, and also questions about how I handle things (behavioral). Each chat was pretty professional and cool. The interviewers knew their stuff and were easy to talk to, and we really dug into things. The whole thing took about a month, which was good because it gave me time to really get a feel for the job and the company. I felt like the interviews went pretty well, but I didn't get any specific feedback on why I didn't get the job, which would have been nice for learning purposes. All in all, it was a well-put-together process and gave me a solid idea of what Wiser Solutions is about and what they look for.

Behavioral

The interview for the Engagement Manager role at Wisor was about 13 minutes long and was quite disappointing. The interviewer didn't seem very interested in my background. She mostly just read the job description, which I already knew. She also seemed distracted and might have been working from home, looking around during the call. I know not everyone is a fit, but I don't think anyone should be ignored or treated disrespectfully. I've worked hard to get my qualifications, pay off my debts, and build my career. I'm a strong candidate who could really contribute with a fair chance. This left me feeling pretty disheartened. I wasn't expecting such unprofessional and dismissive behavior from an international company. It definitely made me question their work culture and hiring standards.

The interview process included several rounds. First, an HR screen (30 min), then an Engineering Manager interview (30 min), followed by a Data Architect interview (45 mins). After that, there was a Technical Round (1 hour), a Technical Panel (1 hour), and finally a Team fit Interview (1 hour).

Behavioral Presentation

I went through 6 interviews, starting with a recruiter chat, then a hiring manager meeting, followed by a presentation, and finally 3 panel interviews. It was a lot having to repeat my background and abilities multiple times. The worst part was the long wait for their final decision, only to be passed over. I had to delay another job offer due to their slow process. Honestly, the whole thing felt like a waste of time since all the effort didn't lead to an offer. Maybe reducing it to 3 interviews - recruiter, hiring manager, and a presentation - would be better. Or even better, skip the presentation and just have a conversation where you can show you're willing to teach someone the role.
