The first interview was a recruiter call where they asked general background questions about my experience and my motivation for the role. It was a pretty straightforward interview. The second round interview involved two case studies and a technical SQL test. The case studies and SQL problems weren't too hard, but they seemed to expect a very high level of response and pace, especially since I only had 20 minutes for each section and basically had to respond immediately without thinking time. I didn't feel like I got to show my full potential in the technical interview and got rejected after that round.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter reached out to me about a CRM Manager position. I was already familiar with Wise and interested in moving forward. The whole process went pretty smoothly, and I made it to the final interview, although I didn't get the job in the end. The recruiter was really nice, gave me feedback, and kept me in the loop. It was a bit of a bummer when one interviewer had to reschedule our meeting last minute because of their calendar. Even though it didn't work out this time, I'd definitely apply again because I really liked the team and how the interviews were handled.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process had 3 steps: HR, potential Direct reports, and the Hiring Manager. The organization of the interviews was a bit redundant because of delays and no responses from the recruiters, but the process itself went okay. The hiring manager was super rude and kept cutting me off, I couldn't even finish a sentence. He also kept twisting my words. He only had about 4 years of experience, and was only experienced in Wise. I told HR about his behavior after the interview, but they never replied. I was rejected and they said I wasn't senior enough, which was weird because I got offers from way bigger companies with better offers for even more senior roles around the same time. I think I was discriminated against because I have more experience than the hiring manager. I'm glad I won't be working with him, but wanted to share my experience.
