First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wireless Advantage (AL).
Sales Consultant
It started with one person, and then suddenly there were three. One person was asking questions normally, but another kept interrupting with personal questions, and the third just stared coldly, trying to intimidate me. I thought it went okay, but clearly not, since they didn't call back. Not that I really care, they seem like a cheap imitation of Verizon, and a pretty unsuccessful company overall.
- What is your desired salary?
Customer Service Representative
The interview was pretty simple. They mostly asked me about my past jobs and what I did in them. They also asked why I quit those jobs. I got asked typical behavioral questions. On top of that, they inquired if I had any background in sales or the wireless sector.
- Can you share an instance where you provided service that went above and beyond for a customer? What was the context and what happened in the end?
- What led you to leave your prior positions?
- Have you worked in sales before?
Sales Representative
I met the Area Manager at the Ocala, FL location. We did a very in-depth interview. I explained all of my previous experience and current scheduling situation. They made the hiring process very enjoyable and all of the training they had me do has completely paid off! I'm a sales person with drive and every possibility of making money, and I do make money!
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in retail sales?
Sales Consultant
I submitted an application online and right away got an assessment. Within a week, I had my first interview. Then, I also had a video interview with the owner, who basically just repeated what the hiring manager had already asked. It was pretty straightforward and simple.
- Do you find it difficult to engage with people?
