First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wipro.
Administrator
Wipro's interview process usually kicks off with an online test that checks your aptitude, logical thinking, and basic tech knowledge. If you pass that, you'll go on to a technical interview where they dive into your core skills and how you solve problems. After that, there's an HR interview to see how well you communicate, your general attitude, and if you'd fit into the company culture.
- Could you describe your final year project and list the technologies involved?
- Tell me about your core subject knowledge and programming fundamentals.
- How do you manage when dealing with work pressure and meeting deadlines?
Software Engineer
The interview was easy. Basic Java questions about OOPS concepts and Collections were asked. Some behavioral questions were also included, and I was asked who the CEO of the company was.

Assistant Manager
The interview process took a while because there were 4 rounds of interviews, moving from one department to another. The specific department I would be joining wasn't even confirmed until I got the offer. On top of that, the buddy assigned to me was a senior who didn't offer any support before I joined. They should have also explained the relocation process better.
- Can you explain the accounting treatment for leases?
- What about the PDD treatment?
Project Engineer
The interview process felt drawn out; I had my interview last December (2024), and it's now November 2025, and I'm still waiting for a preskilling email. The hiring process is incredibly slow.
- Can you elaborate on your C++ expertise?
- Tell me more about the projects you've worked on.
- What is your background with database systems?
