Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

It was a panel interview where people from different teams I'd be working with showed up. It was a mix of behavioral and technical questions all in one go. They weren't focused on LeetCode-style problems but more on communication and whiteboard exercises. I'm pretty sure they hired H-1Bs because they ended up hiring more H-1Bs than they had job openings last year.

Technical Behavioral

For an EDI role at WinSupply, it usually starts with a review of your resume and a recruiter call. After that, there are typically one or two technical interviews where they'll assess your skills for the role, your basic EDI knowledge, and your overall fit. Then you'll have a hiring manager round, and if everything goes well, you'll get an offer. The offer stage is usually pretty quick and simple.

Coding

The interview process was straightforward and efficient. It involved a short LeetCode Easy problem and explanations. The interviewer was very nice, easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable. They were understanding about my lack of technical skills but still encouraged me to find better solutions with hints. Some unfamiliar terms came up, but they weren't critical because of my limited experience.

Behavioral Technical Other

I had a phone interview that was pretty easy and the recruiter was nice. Then I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, who seemed like a good person to work for. It wasn't very long, about 45 minutes, and he mostly talked about the company and the job. He said I'd hear back in a few days. I sent a thank-you email. A few days passed and I hadn't heard anything, so I followed up with the recruiter. She said she'd have a meeting with the hiring manager the next day and let me know. That never happened either. I feel like I was lied to twice and never got any feedback.
