First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Winston Benefits.
Analyst
I was contacted for an on-site interview with the hiring manager after an initial call with the recruiter. After the hiring manager interview, I heard nothing back. I tried reaching out for feedback but received no response.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Technical Account Specialist
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with basic questions. They'll inquire about your previous projects and experience. Proficiency in Excel is highly valued for this role, and it's encouraged to ask questions.
- Can you describe a past project that is relevant to this role?
Frontend Developer
The interview process started with a phone interview that was more of a casual chat with the company's CTO, and it seemed to go pretty well. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. This involved meeting with the CTO again, the design team, and some other developers. During the in-person part, some developers asked technical questions, while others focused on situational questions. Overall, I thought the questions were fair, with a few being a bit tricky but realistic for a real-world job.
- Could you explain some CSS classes?
- What is inheritance?
- How would you define hoisting?
Manager
It was an in-person interview. The manager seemed really focused on the company I used to work for and asked tons of questions about my experience with working from home. This wasn't directly related to the job I applied for, but it was what I was doing at the time. Interestingly, about 3 months later, the interviewer ended up working for my current employer.
- Can you describe your experience in call centers?
