First, I had a phone chat. Then I went to the office for an in person interview with some of the team members and an HR rep. After that, HR contacted me to talk about the offer and the job.

The interview process for the Web Producer role began with a 45-minute meeting with the Head of Digital, covering a range of technical and conversational topics. Next, I spoke with my direct manager about daily tasks and expectations. This was followed by meetings with the Web Producer team and finally with HR. I found the process demanding yet professional, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was nice, personable, and professional. Winsight has this process down to a science. Although I didn't get the job, it was the best interview process I've experienced.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

My interview experience was positive. It started with HR reaching out for a phone call, after which they set up an interview with the hiring manager, also referred to as the exhibition manager. We had a good chat, mostly focusing on my background, and she then gave me a glimpse into my daily responsibilities. A subsequent interview was arranged, expected to be more technical, with two additional managers. However, this interview wasn't strictly technical; they inquired about my background, and I also asked them many questions. I received another email for a final interview with the exhibition manager. She asked a few questions, including situational ones like 'how would you handle a particular situation?' The final question I recall was 'why would I regret not hiring you?', which I found a bit challenging but managed to answer. Everyone was pleasant, from the HR representative to the hiring manager and the other managers. Overall, I had a good experience.

I got an email back from a recruiter in under a week after I applied. We set up a phone interview for later that week, and it went well. The recruiter liked my background and said she'd review my app with the editor in chief. Then, about a week after the phone call, I had a Skype interview which also went great. The editor in chief was easy to chat with and answered all my questions. This was mid-January and they said they'd decide in two weeks. It's now early April and even though I've tried emailing them, I haven't heard back. I know they've hired someone, but I'm bummed they didn't let me know after I'd already done two interviews.
