I went through 2 interviews, one was a situational interview and the other was a written test. The test wasn't too hard if you studied. It had a mix of behavioural and math questions. I'd suggest studying your institutional book and math.

After submitting my resume, I got a call to set up an interview. They were cool about my schedule and gave me a few times to pick from. The interview itself was with a panel of my potential closest colleagues and supervisors. It felt comfortable, friendly, and like a normal conversation. They also checked my references and required a criminal records check and child abuse registry check.

Behavioral Technical

I got a call on Thursday at 1 pm about an interview the next morning at 9 am. I said I couldn't make it on such short notice, and they very rudely said the only other time was 2 pm the next day. They told me there would be a 30-minute test beforehand, and when I asked what it would cover, they again answered rudely, 'I can't tell you that. Just be prepared.' I went to the interview and was given the test, which was a question about using public health skills. Then, two Public Health managers interviewed me. They asked for my references. Afterward, I got an email from one of the managers asking for the FTEs of my previous jobs, which I sent. My references were never contacted, and a week later, a manager left a message saying I didn't get the job. I think they already had someone in mind because I was overqualified (Master's degree) with public health experience. The whole experience with WRHA felt very disrespectful. They call you Thursday afternoon for a Friday morning interview and then waste more of your time asking for references and FTEs but never checking them.
