Manager
My interview experience was great because I felt genuinely welcomed and respected from the very beginning. The environment was comfortable, and the conversation flowed naturally, allowing me to express myself confidently and honestly. The interviewer was friendly, supportive, and engaging, which helped ease any nerves I had. I appreciated how organized and efficient the process was, with clear communication and thoughtful questions that made the discussion both insightful and purposeful. Overall, it felt like a positive, professional exchange where I could showcase my strengths while also learning more about the role and the company in a meaningful way.

Learning And Development Specialist
I applied online and heard back in about two weeks. The interview process took 6 weeks and had 4 rounds. First, a recruiter screening with Ritzi Faust. Then, an interview with the hiring manager, Maurice Rondeau. After that, an executive interview. This was followed by a training design project that took over 5 hours of unpaid work. Then another HM interview and a team panel interview. They also had me complete a Predictive Index Survey. I got rejected over the phone after I followed up. They didn't offer any compensation or feedback on the work I did. Communication was really slow, and I had to follow up multiple times. The unpaid project felt like too much for the interview process. No constructive feedback after rejection.
- Can you describe your process for designing training programs?
Director of Economic Mobility
Got a quick callback after applying and they set up an initial call. They then told me I'd move on to speak with the hiring director. The person who did the phone screen was in the Midwest and seemed hesitant to share details. The phone screener felt really old school. They wouldn't provide a salary range when I asked, and it turned out to be below what I'm looking for. I could tell they didn't like that I pressed for a range, which is an outdated approach when salary is so crucial for everyone's time. I even had to do this phone screen at a coffee shop, which was pretty noisy. It seemed like the interviewer wasn't comfortable with this, and they clearly didn't get that not everyone has access to quiet spaces. Again, very 'old school' thinking, no flexibility. It was rigid and just not a good vibe. I ended up withdrawing from the process because of this.

Leasing Consultant
The process was okay. I had a phone interview and 2 in person interviews. After my second interview, the hiring manager Nancy at the Broadbrook CT location called me and asked if I was still interested in the leasing position. I said yes. She said she would call me back next week for a 4th sit down. This sounded strange so I figured she wasn't going to call me back. I did reach out to the office and leave a message for her. I also called and emailed HR because I was very interested in the position. I feel like it was very misleading. I set aside a lot of time for these interviews just to be left on a cliff hanger which is unprofessional. In the end, I was looking for a career I could dedicate myself to for my family, but it was a huge waste of my time.
