The process was done through VanHack. After talking with HR, there was a technical test (automated), then an interview with the team (Architect), and finally with the CTO, who could give more details about the challenge and needs of the position.

Recruiting was really disorganized. Nobody from recruiting or the hiring team got back to me about my emails. The whole thing dragged on for more than a month and felt like a total waste of time. It came across as so unprofessional that I definitely wouldn't want to join an HR department like that.

The interview process was very pleasant and more conversational than interrogative. They thoroughly vet candidates to ensure a great fit for both the company and the individual. The process involves three steps, which can be quite demanding.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online and then got scheduled for a phone interview. For that, you really need to sound good on the phone and be knowledgeable about wine, etc. After that, I had an in-person interview. This involved a wine knowledge test and a face-to-face to make sure your personality meshes well with everyone. It was pretty laid back, and they were open to questions.
