Went through the organization for employment. After an initial interview with the organization, they contacted the employer/owner. He came to Sioux Falls and we met at a restaurant. We went over aspects of the job requirements, then it was narrowed down between myself and one other person. A day or so later I met with the sales manager, who is a subcontractor, but I'm not sure why to this day.

I reached out to the company myself and set up a time to interview. I have experience in window sales. The owner spoke with me and asked typical questions you'd ask someone applying to be a sales rep. He said he'd call me back after checking my references. I called to follow up and had a hard time getting a hold of him since he was also selling windows. I finally got through to him and he offered me the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. First, I brought my resume, filled out an application, and then had an initial interview. After that, there was a second interview where I had to get on the phone and book an appointment for a Window World estimate, which is a core part of the daily tasks for this role. They wanted to see if I could handle the job duties before offering me the position.

First, you'll meet with the crew and install manager. Then, you'll need to show what you know. After that, you'll install with a crew, proving you can install properly with attention to detail. Lastly, you'll install your own jobs. Being honest with yourself is a must. Sometimes mistakes are made, don't try to hide them. Fix it right or ask someone for advice on how to fix it right.
