First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Windham Professionals.
Customer Care Specialist
The interview process was pretty quick. They inquired about my background in call centers and customer service. Then, they described the job I was applying for. I was asked to share an instance where I dealt with a difficult person at work. I ended up getting the offer that very same day!
- How would you deal with a difficult customer or colleague?
Collections Specialist
After a phone interview, I interviewed with two managers separately. They also did a wpm test and since they are a client of the Federal Government, I had to get background checked. It was a very calm and laid back process. They asked basic questions then some collections based questions.
- Could you define skip tracing and then walk me through various scenarios related to it?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
- What skills and contributions can you bring to our team?
Debt Collector
It was a lot of questions, covering so many different collection scenarios. Then there was a second interview where they asked more of the same questions. If you get hired, it can be on the spot, and there's lots of paperwork.
- What is your experience in debt collection?
- Tell me about a time you had to collect a debt in a difficult situation.
- How do you approach different collection scenarios?
Account Manager
I applied on-line and then HR contacted me by phone. We communicated via email and phone until the interview. The interview was with the location manager and it was very relaxed yet professional. He knew my background since he had also worked at my previous employer and he spoke to me as an expert, which I am. He discussed pay and training dates and then asked if I was hired, which I was, and I accepted the offer.
- How do you feel about a compensation structure with a lower base pay and a bonus component, given your experience in industries like serving (tips) and collections where this is common?
