It was a standard interview. The interviewer was upfront and pleasant, and on time. I enjoyed it. They went over the job details in depth. He also explained the job very thoroughly.

It was a pretty direct interview. They started with a quick intro and then got straight into work-related questions to see if I could do the job. Lots of technical questions, so be ready. They didn't ask about my strengths or weaknesses, just enough questions to figure out if I was a good fit.

This hiring manager was really cocky and had a bad attitude the whole interview. As soon as I said what I was looking for, they decided within 30 seconds that the role wasn't a fit for me, and even called me ambitious. When they saw my requested pay, they pointed out that I was asking for $300 more. Also, the job description they sent didn't match the one they had. I went to their office for this, which was a big disappointment. At the end, when they asked if I had questions, I said no, which is the first time I've ever done that. It felt like a waste of time for everyone.

I found this job on Jobstreet and applied. The HR set up an online interview. But when I joined, the interviewer told me my commencement date and expected salary didn't align. It would've been better if the interviewer checked these details beforehand, so we wouldn't waste each other's time.
