First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wilson Logistics.
Fleet Manager
First, I had some questions to answer online. Then, a phone interview followed. After that, I had a second interview virtually. They asked me a bunch of questions about general knowledge and the industry. I also had to review the job requirements and information about preferred shift coverage.
- What is your level of experience within this industry?
Maintenance Supervisor
The main goal is to coordinate repairs and cut down on costs related to fleet repairs. I also need to talk to drivers, both local and those on the road, to help them make smart choices about the equipment they're using. Another part of the job is building connections with vendors all over the country so we have a good network of repair shops for our drivers. The aim is to get the best labor rates from these shops and work with them to get tractors in and out quickly.
- Could you tell me about your greatest strengths?
Intern
The initial phone screening was pretty deep for a screening, with more interview-style questions. I had to answer some situational questions on the spot. It was a short interview though.
- What motivates you?
Road Assistance
The people were really nice. They talked to me like a person, not like those old interviews where they ask you for generic reasons to work there.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
