First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wilson Connectivity.
Videographer
I went through a lengthy interview process for a Videographer role, involving 5 interviews over two months. The process included 2 phone interviews and 3 in-person interviews, totaling about 5 hours. After the final interview, I was told I'd hear back in a week or two, but after four weeks of silence, I had to follow up. The hiring manager then informed me they had hired someone else. The in-person interviews were unexpectedly long (over 2 hours each), and all interviewers asked the same repetitive questions, making it feel like an interrogation. Some questions felt probing and misleading, focused more on my reactions than my answers. I was not informed about the lengthy in-person interview duration beforehand.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you assess your video editing abilities?
Channel Marketing Specialist
I applied online and got a call within a week to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The call was about an hour and seemed to go well, as the manager was genuine and interested in my background and experience. A few days later, I had an office meeting with the CMO, which also went great. I heard they met with a few other people too. A week after that, the hiring manager called with their decision, and I got an offer.
- When shown an example, what aspects of the company's channel marketing efforts did you find effective, and what areas do you think could be enhanced?
Supply Chain Analyst
The process included a phone interview, then an in-person meeting. I met the hiring manager, HR Manager, another manager (the Controller), and some peer employees. There was also a skills test where I had to manipulate numbers in a spreadsheet, followed by a lunch. The hiring manager said 'We'll be in touch' when I left, but I never heard back, not even a rejection or feedback.
- What attracts you to this company?
Quality Control Manager
The interviewing process at this company is unique and effective. I was asked thought provoking questions and felt by the end of the interview the team knew enough about me to make an educated decision.
- Can you elaborate on your experience with Six Sigma and Lean, providing specific examples with details and figures?
