Program Manager
The interview process was quite direct and open. Despite being professional, the atmosphere felt relaxed, giving me a good feel for the role. Because I didn't have all the specific experience they wanted for the job, they let me shadow for a day to help me decide if it was the right fit.
- Tell me about your understanding of this role.
- What do you know about our company?
- What questions do you have for us regarding the job or the company?
Call Center Manager
So the whole thing took about a week. I had a phone interview basically every day for 4 days straight, then one more on Skype. Each time it was someone new. The final interview was with the hiring manager on Skype. They decided to offer me the job that same day.
- Could you describe your leadership style and what kind of leader you are?
Student Caller
Super quick interview to see if you can talk on the phone and get people to donate money. We spent half the time interviewing and the other half practicing a call to see how you'd do. They were looking for patience, so breathing and staying calm under pressure are important, which the interviewer mentioned.
- What's your approach to resolving disagreements with colleagues?
Student Caller
I got an email from my school's on-site program manager to schedule a phone interview. I picked a time and called in. After the interview, I was told on the same call that I got the job. We then discussed hiring procedures and training dates.
- Tell me what you know about this role.
- What are your perceived strengths?
- How would you handle alumni who are upset or angry with you?
