The interview process was pretty straightforward and well organized. First, there was a Zoom call to talk about the main things for the role and my background. Then, I had some assessments to do at home to see if I could do the job. The last part was an in-person panel interview with 2 or 3 people from the team.

It was a fast and simple process. However, it's really important to do your own homework on the firm. Try to find former employees or read every single thing you can find online about them. The truth is available. You don't even have to look too hard.

I recently interviewed with this firm and had an informative and positive experience. I had a great initial interview with Nicolas, part of Wilshire’s recruitment team who was kind and very open about the way things work at this firm. It was more informative than any initial interview I have been a part of. I also interviewed with the partner who oversaw the department I was interviewing for. This interview was thorough and the partner asked very relevant questions to the position and experience. Wilshire is going above and beyond to vet candidates to find not only qualified candidates but also those who are a good fit. It didn’t work out in the end, but many of the negative reviews here are not what I experienced at all.

Applied via an external recruiter who set up an interview with the internal recruiter. The Wilshire recruiter couldn't give details on billable hours or if the role was hybrid. He said I was a good fit and sent a 2-hour test before I met with the partner. Then I got a rejection email saying the job was filled. I tried emailing the recruiter, but he never replied and is ignoring my calls. The job is still posted and accepting applications even though I was told it was filled.
