First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Willow Wealth.
Transactions Analyst
I had an interview at their offices which lasted over an hour, causing me to miss time from my job. After a personal interview that lasted almost an hour and a half, I received an automated email informing me that I was rejected. I find this extremely disrespectful. On one hand, they waste your time, and on the other hand, you don't get any normal feedback. I am sincerely disappointed.
- Can you describe your current role and outline your qualifications?
Investor Relations
The interview process includes at least 3-4 interviews. It starts with a recruiter, then an existing team member, followed by a manager, and the final round is with a senior team member. By the last interview, you'll likely be asked to present a real-life scenario and also demonstrate your ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and company culture.
- How would you manage disagreements and challenging client interactions?
- Can you describe a project you successfully completed?
Sales Director
So the interviews were all over Google video, four in total. It kicked off with HR reaching out saying I was interesting to them. Then I had two more chats, about 30-40 mins each. The last one was supposed to be with three higher-ups where I'd present a business plan answering questions about marketing and my action plan. One of them couldn't make it last minute because of a family emergency. After my 1-hour presentation, they told me they went with other candidates who had more experience. I think the point was for them to see how I, as an experienced sales person, would suggest launching the new division. It was a bit disappointing, especially since I'm at a top Wall St firm with years of sales experience.
- Can you detail the execution timelines and expected progress for your business plan?
- What KPIs will you use to measure success and what outcomes do you expect?
Investor Relations Associate
The first interview was with the HR recruiter, and it was totally fine. She was thorough and enthusiastic. But then I met with the VP of Investor Relations, and it was uncomfortable. She didn't seem interested, seemed like she had other things she'd rather be doing, was on her phone half the time or looking out the window. It was super unprofessional, and I instantly knew I didn't want to work for her. You'd think they'd at least have someone who acts interested interview you. I've told everyone to avoid this company; it was a horrible experience.
- Can you describe a challenging client interaction you've had?
