The people I met were really nice and relaxed. They were good at explaining how Willmeng works and what the company is like. I met with different people from different departments. They spent time telling me about the company and its history.

The entire process took about 6 weeks because Willmeng really wants to ensure their candidates can pass all the tests. Initially, I had to answer a few questions via email. Next, I completed two online tests, the Personality Index. Then, I had two online interviews over Zoom. The last stage involved flying me to Phoenix for in-person interviews with the team. This final part included four rounds of interviews with Senior Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and HR staff. Overall, it was a good experience, and everyone was very friendly. Even though it was my top choice company, I didn't get the job. Still, it's a great company with nice people.

The initial interview process has nothing to do with Construction. It’s just jumping through the HR gatekeeper’s hoops. A recruiter set me up with Willmeng. I spoke with the “Talent Acquisition Manager” who had me take two online assessments apparently measuring my personality by selecting adjectives & phrases corresponding to your work traits. This was sandwiched around a 30 min Zoom interview where my job background/past experience was discussed. I then would have progressed to having another Zoom interview with a project team.

I applied online and also met recruiters at a college career fair. I'd previously interviewed with HR about internships, but there weren't any openings then, and that HR person left the company. Then, I had a phone interview with a different HR person for this specific job.
