Applied via LinkedIn, received a call about a week later to schedule an interview. Got hired about 2 weeks after the interview. Arrived 10 mins early to the interview and was told to browse while they got ready. It was a group interview with 5 people and the general manager. The GM went over job duties and what a seasonal role involves. We were allowed to ask questions about store credit cards, hours, and team dynamics. We each introduced ourselves, sharing where we're from, our school, and if we know the brand. It was suggested to engage with the group a little to show people skills. The GM mentioned prior brand knowledge isn't needed as they train on everything. They mainly want to see flexibility and open availability. They also noted the possibility of being hired as a regular sales associate after the holiday season. We then had a brief store tour, finishing within an hour. The GM said she'd be in touch in a few weeks, but I heard back in 6 days. Accepted the offer and was asked to come in a week later for paperwork, employee setup, and scheduling.

The interview was pretty short. The interviewer really emphasized how high-end the products and the customers are. They talked a lot about the dress code and promised thorough training on these luxury items. They also mentioned that communication is key for the company and that schedules are planned two weeks ahead of time. Turns out, none of that was true after I got the job. Dress code was casual, training was basically non-existent – you had to keep asking managers questions in front of customers. Getting a schedule was a slow, last-minute hassle, done week by week. Oh, and they didn't mention that parking is off-limits on weekends, which is a big deal since I said I could work weekends and drive to work.

The overall interview experience was pretty good. I had to follow up with the General Manager after submitting my application because they were a bit slow to respond, but after that, I got a call back for an interview within 24 hours. The interview itself was pretty standard, and I could tell they really wanted to get to know me to see if I'd be a good fit for the team. I got offered the job within 48 hours after the interview. They were cool about giving me time to consider the offer, and once I accepted, they moved really fast to get me in for paperwork and training.
