Auditor
The whole thing took about a month. It was a really great experience, and I enjoyed talking to everyone I interviewed with. My recruiter was awesome! She kept me in the loop the whole time.
- Can you describe your current experience and explain how it's relevant to this position?
Supervisor
I've interacted with many recruiters, both external and internal, and I must say that WA's recruitment team is outstanding. They excel at communicating the hiring process and addressing any concerns. After my final interview, while awaiting a decision, I reached out to Tara. She provided a clear timeline for when I could expect to hear back and informed me about the next steps and who I would be speaking with. She also patiently answered all my questions, no matter how trivial I thought they were, making me even more eager to join WA. While the rest of the team was great, if everyone at the firm operates with even a quarter of the transparency and support Tara demonstrated, it would surpass all expectations.
- Behavioral, resume, and technical questions were asked, with increasing difficulty across rounds.
- No case interviews were conducted.
- Senior Leadership focused on understanding me and my aspirations.
Accounting Clerk
I had a phone interview with the Recruiter, even with the pandemic going on. She was super nice and made me feel at ease. She asked if I was okay with working in DC, talked about their COVID-19 plan and when people would start returning to the office, and inquired about my salary expectations and technical skills. She had me rank my skills from 1 to 10. We also discussed my resume and the company, and she answered so many of my questions that I didn't have many left by the end. I really enjoyed chatting with her. She also outlined what to expect next in the hiring process. The next day, she followed up with a recap of our chat and some extra info, which made me like the company even more. She got back to me by the promised date to let me know I hadn't advanced but that they'd keep my resume on file. It was a good experience overall. She added a brief note referencing a previous discussion.
- What's your rating for your familiarity with the JAMIS Platform?
- Could you describe your ideal supervisor and how they provide motivation?
IT Risk Management Associate
First I had a phone interview with a recruiter, which lasted about an hour. Then, two weeks later, I had a 2.5 hour interview and met with 3 people, whereby I learned a lot about the position and had the chance to ask and answer several questions. I thought the interview went extremely well and was really excited at the concept of working there. After about 2 weeks, I received an email from the recruiter that I was moving on with the hiring process, which I was of course, excited to hear. However, 3 weeks went on with my following up each week to ask about more details, and I never heard anything from the recruiter again. I tried reaching out to one of the individuals I interviewed with and I heard the same story - that they would check to see what was up and get back to me. They never did.
- Can you describe your perspective on IT Security and the implementation of rules?
