First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at William Reed.
Sales
I went through a 4 stage interview process, it was super smooth meeting with TA, Managers and Directors. It was great to get to know them and get a better understanding of the business, how long they've been here for and what the culture is like.
- They went through my CV and previous experience and how this would align with my current role.
Account Manager
It was a four-stage process with a mix of zoom calls and face-to-face meetings. The final stage involved a task. This could have been done in just two stages, but it was manageable, and the talent acquisition team kept in regular contact.
- What value do you offer?
Content Editor
The interview happened online over Zoom and felt pretty chill. The person interviewing me was nice and I liked chatting with them. It's been four weeks now and I still haven't heard anything back from the company. I get that they can't reply to everyone, but it would be good manners to at least get back to people who took the time to prepare and do an interview, even if they don't have specific feedback.
- What's your motivation for applying to this position?
Marketing Director
It was a really tough time. They put me in a room with 2-3 interviewers who seemed to have no clue about the job. This company is a perfect example of a bloated corporate setup. If you like a soul-crushing work environment with people who have the personality of a wet dishcloth, this is the place for you. I wouldn't recommend it.
- Could you share your background in creating and executing effective marketing strategies within the food and beverage sector?
- Describe your approach to analyzing and understanding our target audience, including the tools and methods you'd employ.
- How would you decide on and distribute our marketing budget among different platforms like social media, print, TV, and events?
