So after I applied, I had a phone call with the search committee. We talked about the role and they asked me about my background. Then, I was invited to come to campus to meet with the search committee and some campus collaborators. I had to give a presentation about my role, and they gave me the prompt for it after the phone interview. While I was presenting, the search committee asked me questions.

So there were like 2 interviews, the first one was just to chat and see if you were a good fit, and if you passed that then you had a second interview. Then there was a 3rd interview which was like a take-home assignment where you had to design a mockup for a typical task in this role.

Had a phone interview. Got a call back about two weeks later and was invited for an on-campus interview. Went to Wilkes-Barre for the interview. The interview went well. Gave a presentation which also went fine. Got an email the next day saying it would take 2-4 weeks for a decision because of scheduling. After 5 weeks, I emailed the Department Chair for an update. Two days later, I got a rejection email from HR. The Department Chair never called or replied to my email.

I applied and after three weeks, they got in touch to schedule an in-person interview. The interview lasted about half an hour, and I got the job offer a week later. It took Wilkes over a month to get me properly onboarded, and I was unemployed and without income during that time. My advice is not to quit your current job until Wilkes gives you a confirmed start date.
