I applied through Linkedin for the Aperture Talent Agency part of the business. I got an email from the Director, had a phone interview with them, then an in person interview with them, and a 2nd in person interview with them. I was asked the same questions in each. I got a verbal offer and they told me the next steps. I didn't hear back for two days, and then they told me someone else in another department was interested in switching to talent. A day later, they told me I didn't get it.

Behavioral Presentation

They hold open calls weekly at their NY, LA, and Miami locations. Check online to see when they're in your area. For female models, height needs to be 5’ 8” or taller, and they’re not keen on anyone much over 6 feet. Dress casually with minimal makeup: think heels (not too high), jeans, and a solid top. Avoid overly high heels, heavy makeup, or looking like you're going out. Bring your portfolio, a swimsuit, and some digital photos. Upon arrival, you'll complete a simple form with basic info like name, age, height, measurements, and past work. The receptionist will then review your portfolio. They might return it, stating it's not their desired look, and thank you for coming. If they're interested, an agent will discuss your portfolio and ask about your experience. Since people often fib about height and age, they might try to confirm these details. If they're still keen, they'll take some photos of you, including some in your swimsuit. They might also arrange test shoots with their photographer to see how you perform. If everything aligns, they'll offer you a contract and start sending you to auditions.

I got an email about a seasonal internship, and then an agent responded and we scheduled a call. It was a pretty standard, short phone interview with two people on the other end.
