Wiley reached out to me about a role that wasn't even advertised yet. We scheduled a call, and for about 30 minutes, the recruiter gave me the rundown on the job. Afterward, they emailed me a draft of the job description and basically said it was up to me to decide. I replied and followed up, but then... crickets. Not even a polite heads-up that things had changed. It's been weeks. I'm not expecting anything at this point, but it wasn't a great experience with Wiley. Recruiters are supposed to represent the company, you know?

I applied online and heard back from HR about a week later to set up a phone screen. The phone screen was mostly about my resume and what I was looking for. About two weeks after that, HR let me know I'd be interviewing with the hiring manager. Then, about a week after that, I had a group/panel interview at HQ to meet the team, which was the last interview for me. A week after the team interview, HR asked for my references. After they got my references, they offered me the job. The hiring manager and team interviews were all behavioral, so it's good to have some stories ready from work or personal life. The whole process from applying to getting the offer took a little less than two months.

Super long process, needs patience. HR was slow to respond after the first two interviews. Talked to the main people for the job, they helped me out by answering questions and telling me what they were looking for. It's a very corporate and bureaucratic place, and you can totally tell from how they do interviews.
