First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wiley.
Business Analyst
The interview process was excellent and very logical and thought provoking. It consisted of 3 interviewers who assessed my capabilities in Product management, logical reasoning, requirement modeling and Agile. The panel also assessed my attitude with seemingly obvious questions though I knew they just wanted to verify from my end. All in all, it was a good interview.
- How would you break down a product vision into team-level user stories?
Business Analyst
I had 4 interviews with 4 different people in different locations. The communication from the recruiter was bad from the start, but the interview process itself was great, with good questions and it was fairly easy. It took about 3 weeks from the first interview to the last. But like many before me, after 4 interviews I was ghosted and couldn't get any updates. To the recruiter, you know who you are. Very shameful, do you ever consider how much unnecessary anxiety and stress you cause people.
- What makes you want to work at Wiley?
Business Analyst Intern
First, there was a phone call interview where they asked questions. Then, an assessment interview with Business Analysts took place, and it was a panel. After that, I had an interview with the Manager to understand who I am as an individual. Finally, Human Resources contacted me only if I got chosen.
- Can you provide some examples of non-functional requirements?
