Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wiley.
Associate Brand Manager
The interview process was smooth and organized. I didn't hear back for about 4 weeks even after following up multiple times, which was frustrating. The interviews themselves were very simple and conversational.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- What would you consider your strengths and weaknesses to be?
- What are your future aspirations?
Brand Manager
The Education Services division is known for putting candidates through a lot of interview rounds. I went through 8 interviews before getting an offer, and that's pretty standard there. They included phone and in-person interviews with HR, my direct manager, senior leaders, and colleagues.
- In what ways could you influence performance?
Brand Manager
I sent in my application and a recruiter got back to me the next day. The following week, I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter. They basically just went over my past experience listed on my resume. I didn't move on because the budget for the job was way lower than what I was expecting salary-wise, which was odd since it was less than what I saw for the same job on other websites.
- Can you tell me what you know about Wiley?
- Please describe your previous role(s).
- What prompted you to leave your last position?
