First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wildfire Defense Systems.
Director of Operations
The interview process was thorough, professional, and detailed, with a willingness to provide honest and concise feedback. WDS management seems committed to hiring the best person for each role, which is reflected in their interviews.
- When it comes to performance reviews or disciplinary actions, are you typically more lenient or strict as a manager?
Project Analyst
It was all online, took about 3 weeks from interview to offer and about 3 weeks from application to interview offer. Would have been nice to have better clarification on the timeline or process though.
- Are you able to relocate to Bozeman?
PHP Developer
I had two 30-minute phone screens with the same internal recruiter, and then a one-hour phone interview with the lead developer. It was a really good experience with both. Even though I got rejected, the recruiter reached out again months later with another opening, which was great, but I had already accepted a new job by then.
- 24-hour take-home exercise: could you solve hourglass-sums in PHP?
Project Manager
We had a 1-hour interview with HR where they wanted to get to know me and my leadership style and how I work with people. After that, there was a 1-hour group interview with the Hiring Manager and the team.
- Can you describe your project management experience?
