The process felt rushed and chaotic, and I wasn't sure the interviewer was really trying to get to know me. There were a lot of people grouped together and being moved around.

I filled out an application for the food service job in May. About a week later, I got a call to set up an interview, which was that same week with the food service managers. They asked basic questions like "How did your previous job go?" and other simple stuff. I felt good after that interview. A week after that, I attended a group meeting about the job and its rules. I got some paperwork for the background check, W-4, and guidelines. Once I turned that all in, I had a final meeting with the park's head managers and completed the employment verification forms. Then I got hired and I really love this job.

I was trying to get a job as a ride operator, but at a hiring event, I learned they really needed lifeguards. I was told that if I just showed up for lifeguard interviews and mentioned I applied for ride operator but was also open to lifeguarding, I'd probably get hired. I met the department head and the main manager/supervisor. The manager seemed nice. I was interviewed by her. After the interview, I got a handwritten note with training class dates, times, and payment info. The communication between the interview and the training class was kind of bad and stressful.
